CEO Office
 At the helm of IPERS is the chief executive officer. The CEO is appointed by the governor and confirmed by the Iowa Senate. Iowa law requires that the CEO possess high credentials and experience in pension and investment administration. CEO Donna M. Mueller has been in her position since 2003. She was most recently reconfirmed by the Senate on March 26, 2012.
The CEO Office also provides internal auditing, public information, project management, and legal services. Outside legal counsel, shown below, support the work of IPERS’ general counsel.

Responsibilities:
