Retirement planning with IPERS is more convenient than ever before!
As a member of IPERS, you can attend any of the following types of sessions. See below for instructions; you may need to register or make an appointment ahead of time. Call 1-800-622-3849 weekdays,

Individual counseling |
Meet one-on-one with an IPERS retirement counselor. Get an estimate of your IPERS benefits and discuss death benefit options.
Recommended for members thinking of retiring in three to five years.

On the phone
No appointment necessary. We will mail you an estimate of your benefits after the call.
Online
Use your computer to log in to our secure computer system and see what your retirement counselor is seeing on the screen while talking on the phone. We will mail you an estimate of your benefits afterward.
To schedule an online counseling session, call and set a time with a retirement counselor. The counselor will ask for your e mail address and phone number.
In person
Call us to schedule an appointment. You will receive a letter confirming your appointment. Please call if you can’t keep an appointment so we can schedule someone else.
Evening appointments fill up fast, so call early to schedule.

State employees can attend a PDS class on retirement. To attend, call us and ask to register.
