IPERS has restored access to My Account (member online access) and I-Que (employer self-service) with the following security measures in place:

Direct deposit information cannot be changed within My Account, until further notice.

The 103 fraudulent My Account registrations that were created have been removed.

On October 31, IPERS learned that 103 retiree accounts were compromised in mid-October. Criminals using stolen Social Security numbers and birth dates registered for IPERS online account access where they changed direct deposit information, and redirected the benefit payments to a different financial institution.
