My Account is your IPERS retirement toolkit.

  • Beneficiary Designation - You may change your beneficiary at any time by completing and submitting your change online or by submitting the IPERS Beneficiary Designation form. If you are married and are not designating your spouse, you need to complete the form.
  • Your Transaction Details - View the history of all your contributions to IPERS. This includes your Service Totals, Investment Summary and Refund Information. 
  • Benefit Statement - To view a printable copy of your annual benefit statement, click the 'Generate' button. Statements that you have previously generated are available in the 'History of Letters and Documents'.
  • History of Letters and Documents - View a record of the letters and documents you've received from IPERS. You can also view documents or letters you generate with My Account. 
  • Link to Forms - This option provides a link to some of IPERS' forms. Download any form to complete it.
  • Member Meetings - This feature allows you to schedule an in-person counseling session. *NOTE: Until further notice, IPERS is only offering counseling either online or by phone.

With My Account, members can:

  • Update their contact information
  • Update beneficiary information
  • Generate a real-time benefit payment, service purchase or refund estimates

As an IPERS retiree, My Account allows you to: 

  • View benefit payment history
  • View and change tax withholdings
  • View and change direct deposit information
  • View income verification information

Yes, all beneficiaries who receive IPERS benefits can access My Account. The month you begin receiving benefit payments, you should receive a letter with your username. A separate letter with a temporary password will follow a few days later. If you need help accessing My Account, contact IPERS at 800-622-3849. 

In addition to a few of the above options, beneficiaries can also: 

  • View benefit payment history
  • View and change direct deposit information
  • View income verification information

To access My Account, you will need:

  • Your username
  • Your temporary password

New members will receive a welcome packet in the mail within a few weeks of their first paycheck. The letter in the packet contains your username. A second letter that includes your password letter will arrive in the mail a few days later. If you didn't receive a welcome packet or didn't keep your letter, contact us and we'll help you access My Account.

Current members or retirees should contact IPERS to receive your username and password.

This is part of the two-factor authentication process. You will need to do this every time you log in to My Account. Two-factor authentication provides a second layer that reconfirms your identity and reduces fraud risks. IPERS began using two-factor authentication in 2018.

New members receive their username and/or password separately by mail within a few weeks of their first paycheck. Current members or retirees can contact IPERS and we will help you access My Account.
