IPERS is committed to keeping its members, employers, and other customers informed. In addition to issuing releases to newspapers, radio, and television, IPERS announces events and changes to the IPERS Plan. IPERS also posts warnings should IPERS hear of a scam that is intended to obtain personal or financial information from members, beneficiaries, or retirees.

07/07/08 IPERS makes about 87,000 benefit payments every month. When flooding displaced so many people, it was a small comfort to know 95 percent of the payments went directly to a bank account. Direct deposit meant there were no mail delays, and money our members depend on reached them on time. A reliable payment is a small thing in a disaster, but it is one less worry for those already suffering.
06/23/08 IPERS has announced investment returns as of March 31, 2008.
06/20/08 The IPERS Investment Board will meet June 26.

04/17/08 IPERS has issued an IT managed services RFP.
03/17/08 IPERS has issued an intent to award a contract for RFP 2008-10 Date of Death/Address Verification Services to Pension Benefit Information, Inc. and SUMO Group, Inc.
03/11/08 The Benefits Advisory Committee approved minutes for its 02-11-2008 meeting.
03/10/08 The Benefits Advisory Committee approved minutes for its 10-08-2007 and 01-07-2008 meetings
